Community Supported Agriculture
On leave in 2012!
Chris is planning on taking paternity leave in 2012. We plan to be back in 2013, so if you are interested in CSA membership then, please check back late in 2012. As always, you are welcome to be added to our waiting list; waitlist members are the first to be notified as soon as we're accepting CSA members again. Just drop Chris an email and request to be added to the waiting list. Our CSA season runs from May through mid December, for a total of 33 weeks of fresh, locally grown produce. Shares will be available to be picked up at the farm in Eagle Creek (any time after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday) and in SE portland at the Tucker-Maxon School at Holgate and 28th Place (from 5:00-7:00 on Tuesday). The farm is located on Weitz Lane, just off Hwy 224 in Eagle Creek. A $100 deposit will secure your spot for next year.
Pricing for 2011 is $840.00 ($25.45/week) for a large share and $510.00 ($15.45/week) for a small share. Small shares are sized for 1-2 people, large shares are for a small family of 3-4. Find more info on share size here.
Small shares receive the same diversity of produce as the large shares, there is just less of everything.
We offer
farm shares through our Community Supported Agriculture program to families and individuals in the Portland Area. Members make an initial investment in the Farm early in the season, and in return they receive 33 weeks of produce from the farm, and a chance to get to know where their food comes from. For more information on our CSA program you can follow the links on the left sidebar. If you'd like to sign up, please download the 2011 contract for new members, fill it out, and send it to us along with your deposit check for $100.We are happy to answer any questions - just contact us!
